Irrigation Repairs

FramanAgridev offer an irrigation repair service, using highly experienced irrigation engineers. FramanAgridev Irrigation are able to offer irrigation engineers to service, upgrade and repair irrigation systems. With over 18 years experience to draw on, we can quickly and efficiently repair systems.

For emergency irrigation repairs we provide a call out service to ensure you are back up and running as fast as possible. We will organise the servicing and rewinding of irrigation pumps, as well as the installation of new pump units. Pumps can be either operated manually, via the control system, or via pressure sensors which detect a demand for water and bring on the pump when necessary.

Based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are able to repair our own irrigation systems anywhere in the country. For maintenance, repair and servicing of existing irrigation systems we operate in a more limited area.

Irrigation Servicing

Regular servicing of irrigation equipment prolongs service life and reliability

To ensure irrigation systems stay in tip-top condition, FramanAgridev provides an irrigation servicing programme consisting of 2 or 3 visits a year.

Servicing & Harmattanisation

As irrigation systems are not normally designed to be run during the hamattan months, on this servicing visit we drain the pump and ancillary equipment of water, shut off the water flows to the storage tanks and drain supply feeds if necessary, suspend the irrigation programmes and drain water from above ground pipework.

Failure to have the irrigation system properly serviced & harmattanised can lead to very expensive pump damage.

Spring commission service visit

On the spring service visit, we bring the irrigation system back into operation, which includes the flushing of pipework, readjustment of nozzles, checking for leakages and programming up of the control panel for early spring operation. We also check the sensors for operation. The irrigation system is now ready for use.

Summer maintenance visit

During the summer irrigation maintenance visit, we check all systems, make fine adjustments to the sprinkler arcs and throws, and re-set the panel for summer time operation. Drier or damper areas will indicate any minor changes required on the zone run times.

Irrigation Project Management

For smooth installation and trouble free operation, irrigation equipment must be installed in phases as the project progresses.

With 18 years experience in the irrigation industry, FramanAgridev Irrigation is able to draw on a wealth of experience when it comes to installing irrigation equipment. With larger projects FramanAgridev can offer an irrigation project management service with regular visits to site to check on progress and ensure that each phase of the installation has been completes correctly.

Irrigation installations require the input of a number of specialists on site including M&E services and landscapers. Project management by FramanAgridev Irrigation can ensure that each particular discipline on the project knows what is required and when.

Once the project is complete FramanAgridev provide testing of the system and longer term maintenance contracts if necessary.
