Linear Irrigation

FramanAgridev Linear Irrigation Systems use up to 50% less water than flood irrigation and cover almost 98% of a rectangular field. Critical to higher value crops, FramanAgridev’s continuous movement performance delivers the most precise water pattern available, most important when chemigating. FramanAgridev’s simplicity allows one person to effectively manage many systems. With linear irrigation systems, the majority of the water is not needed at the outer end of the system reducing friction loss. Each sprinkler system distributes an equal amount of water regardless of its position on the system, making it ideal for low-pressure applications.

FramanAgridev Linear irrigation systems share the same hydrostatic design features as our pivots and can operate from a furrow, above-ground cable or buried wire. Water can be supplied from ditch, or hose-drag sources. You can make your choice, hard or soft hose in sections up to 650″ and a variety of diameters to fit your application.

FramanAgridev’s one-span linear irrigation system can irrigate complex combinations of smaller and irregular systems. Preferred for specialty crops, experimental stations, and hybrid seed operations, they can irrigate variable widths and can accommodate water supplied by 3″ to 5″ diameter drag hoses.

Pivot Irrigation

Over 18 years of Pivot system irrigation experience has resulted in consistently improved levels of performance and reliability. FramanAgridev pivot arms maintain continuous movement utilizing FramanAgridev’s patented hydraulic alignment controls. Pivot span drives are hydraulic planetary design that are direct coupled to the hydraulic motors resulting in a narrow corner span profile reducing crop loss.

Smooth, accurate steering is achieved using a powerful hydraulic cylinder. Comparing FramanAgridev’s pivot system to electric: FramanAgridev’s pivot irrigation system guidance is achieved through simple, safe, low voltage controls operating strong and dependable hydraulic power. This eliminates high voltage power, electric motors, contactors, switches, relays, transformers, center drive gear reducers, shafts and bearings needed by electric systems.

FramanAgridev’s continuous movement reduces wear on the pivot connection since the arm does not stop and go every minute of operation. The FramanAgridev pivot adjusts to the constant speed of the center pivot end tower and maintains a uniform speed and connection position.

Our center pivots are specifically designed for low-speed, high torques applications, they operate equally well in either direction. Our planetary gear drive operates at nearly 90% efficiency. They get the power to the ground with a minimum of wasted energy. Center Pivot System Three gears, instead of one, extend gear life and absorb stress. The reserve torque designed in protects against gearbox failure and ensures smooth operation of the center pivot at any speed.
